Amendment By the States Amendment

Section 1. Whenever two thirds of the State Legislatures shall have acted to propose the same Amendment to this Constitution, it shall be valid for all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified as described in Article V.

Section 2. A State's act to propose or ratify an Amendment is invalid after two years if not renewed in a similar act.
